Alex
General Manager
Alex has been with the School of Rock in Littleton, CO since 2014. He started off teaching Little Wing and guitar lessons and through the years has expanded to teach every instrument, class, and program that the school has to offer. With over 30 shows and camps directed, Alex has been a pillar of our School of Rock community. Music is more than a hobby for him, it’s a lifelong investment. From piano lessons as a child, to marching bands, orchestras, choirs, and touring in bands, his passion for music goes above and beyond. Alex radiates enthusiasm and charisma, meeting him you will see that he has found his true calling here at School of Rock.
Allison
Assistant General Manager
The role of the studio coordinator is one of schedules, bills and emails. However, Allison has turned that role into a pivotal source of support and love while offering an ocean of enthusiasm for everyone that walks through our doors! Allison goes out of her way to greet every student and family member making everyone feel welcome. Allison has a background in teaching and nursing, and also has 2 of her own rock stars that attend School of Rock Littleton. Being a part of the School of Rock family allows Allison to bring her passion for helping kids grow as students, musicians, and people to life. “For all those about to rock, we salute you” - AC/DC
Shayne
Music Director
Shayne has been with School of Rock Littleton since 2017. He started as an instructor and show director before becoming the music director of our school. With over 20 years of guitar and drum experience, Shayne has so much passion and knowledge to pass down to our students. Shayne has been in countless bands over the past 15 years, touring all over the midwest and east coast. He is currently in a band called Jr. Rabbit with fellow School of Rock instructors Mike and Jacob.
Ryan
Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher
Ryan is a School of Rock Littleton graduate himself, having been a student for 10 years. During his time as a student, he had the opportunity to attend a Rock n Roll Fantasy Camp in Los Angeles, California. Ryan loves listening, playing, and teaching music of all different genres, and he specializes in classic rock. He is an active member of the Denver music scene with his band, Project Murphy. Ryan is a bass teacher and guitar teacher at School of Rock Littleton in Colorado.
Brittany
Vocal Teacher, Keyboard + Piano Teacher
Brittany is one of our school's primary vocal and keyboard teachers. She has been singing her whole life, having years of experience not only playing but taking lessons as well. Brittany has been teaching since high school where she was All-State for choir. She is currently attending the University of Colorado for songwriting.
Emily
Drum Teacher, Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher, Keyboard + Piano Teacher
Emily has been teaching at School of Rock Littleton for over five years and is a former School of Rock student. While Emily was a student she had the opportunity to play at Red Rocks for Film on the Rocks to a sold-out crowd with House Band. She is currently in two touring bands: Only Echoes and Victim of Fire. Emily is a drum, guitar, bass, and keyboard teacher at School of Rock Littleton.
Noah
Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher
Noah is one of our school's primary guitar and bass teachers and is a former School of Rock Student himself. Noah enjoys listening to and teaching all kinds of music, and he specializes in fusion and thrash metal. He is currently recording his own fusion music.
Riley
Drum Teacher, Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher
Riley is a former School of Rock student with over a decade of teaching experience. He is very active in the Denver music scene performing with his four metal bands: Lightstory, Thicker Skin, Rattlehead, and Americana group Last Chance Texaco. Riley is currently endorsed by Aristides Guitars which specializes in custom guitars. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Music from the University of Denver. Riley is a drum, guitar, and bass teacher at School of Rock Littleton.
Joan
Drum Teacher
Joan has been playing music for over 13 years and has been with School of Rock as both a student and teacher since 2010. She has been involved in over 44 season shows and was a School of Rock AllStar before graduating. Joan currently attends the University of Denver for recording arts. She is currently involved in multiple projects, including the math pop band Birdhouse View. Joan is a drum teacher at School of Rock Littleton.
Jack
Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher
Jack is a former School of Rock Littleton student himself, with over a decade of experience playing both guitar and bass. He had the opportunity to play at Red Rocks, Summerfest, and South by the Southwest during his time in our School of Rock Littleton House Band.
Jack is an active member of the Denver music scene with his band Coldridge. He is currently attending UC Denver for their Recording Arts program. Jack is a guitar teacher and bass teacher at the School of Rock in Littleton, Colorado.
Elle
Vocal Teacher, Keyboard + Piano Teacher, Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher
Elle is a former School of Rock student with over 15 years of experience. Elle is currently in 4 bands; Fruitless Body, Fainting Dreams, Birdhouse View, and Endless, Nameless. Elle has been touring for years and even had the privilege of being the opening act for The Fall of Troy. Elle is a bass, guitar, vocal and keyboard teacher at School of Rock Littleton.
Tavin
Guitar Teacher, Bass Teacher
Tavin is one of our school's primary guitar and bass teachers. He has been teaching for 15 years. Tavin is an active member of the Denver music scene with his metal band Last Nerve. He loves playing and teaching all genres of music but specializes in punk and metal. He is currently pursuing a degree in music theory and production.
Mike
Drum Teacher
Mike has been part of School of Rock for 15 years and is a student. He is a two-time School of Rock AllStar and has played at Red Rocks and Lollapalooza on multiple occasions. Mike is an active member of the Denver music scene with his band Jr. Rabbit with fellow Littleton instructor Jacob. He has been teaching drums at School of Rock Littleton for 6 years.
Haley
Assistant Music Director
Haley is a vocal and keyboard teacher at the School of Rock in Littleton, CO. Haley has been playing piano for over 25 years and has been singing since before she could talk. She has a musical theater background in both teaching and performing.
Haley has worked in television, commercials, and film. Though she loves listening, performing, and teaching all different kinds of music, she tends to gravitate towards more theatrical styles such as emo and show tunes.
Jacob
Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher
Jacob is a former School of Rock Student himself and has been teaching for 6 years. He went to Metro State for jazz performance and music theory. Jacob is an active member of the Denver music scene with his band Jr. Rabbit with fellow Littleton instructor Mike. Though he enjoys all music genres he specializes in jazz and music theory. Jacob is a guitar and bass instructor at School of Rock Littleton.
Erin
Keyboard + Piano Teacher
Erin has been playing the keyboard for 9 years and is a former School of Rock Littleton student. As a student, she was part of our House Band and had the opportunity to perform at Red Rock and Summerfest in Milwaukee. She loves teaching music of all genres and specializes in indie, folk, and classic rock. Erin is a keyboard teacher at School of Rock Littleton.
JR
Drum Teacher
JR has been a drummer for over 20 years. He has played in a variety of groups, from Trios to Big Bands and large ensembles. JR is also experienced in many different musical genres, such as Rock, Pop Punk, Jazz, Funk, Latin, and more. His current favorite bands include Beatooth, The Amity Affliction, and Bring Me The Horizon. Over his career, he has taught at multiple schools, including School of Rock in Illinois. JR is a drum teacher at School of Rock Littleton.
Ripley
Vocal Teacher
Ripley is a former School of Rock student with 13 years of vocal experience in the genres of rock, metal, choral, a cappella, classical, pop, and musical theater. She has performed at iconic venues and festivals such as Summerfest, House of Blues Dallas, and the Denver Coliseum.
Ripley graduated from CU Denver with a bachelor's degree in Music Business and is the lead vocalist of the progressive rock band Inertia Machine. Ripley is a vocal teacher at the School of Rock in Littleton, Colorado.
