Liz
General Manager
Liz has been singing since she was a little girl. Music and expressing herself have always been in her blood, from playing trumpet and piano to singing in musicals, jazz choir, show choir, concert choir, barbershop quartets, and state solo competitions in high school and college. Liz has toured the whole state of Wisconsin two summers in a row in a traveling troupe called Kids from Wisconsin, performing 73 shows a summer.
Liz attended the University of La Crosse Wisconsin and studied Trumpet Performance with a minor in Theater. She has performed in multiple groups in Las Vegas playing keyboards, trumpet, and singing pop/synth/rock/punk music. She has opened for many different artists including The Fixx, Missing Persons, Bow Wow Wow, Modern English, Warren G, Metalachi, and many more. Liz toured all over the United States and played in the world’s largest music festival—Summerfest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin—as well as in music festivals in Las Vegas.
Mackenzie
Studio Coordinator
Mackenzie was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and moved to Las Vegas when she was 4 years old. She has been singing for as long as she can remember, starting with talent shows in 1st grade and eventually joining the school choir in 2nd grade. Mackenzie started playing guitar in 8th grade, taking lessons at School of Rock for about five years, and was in House Band for two years. Along the way, she learned how to play bass, but mainly focused on guitar.
Mackenzie then went to Las Vegas Academy of the Performing Arts as a Vocal Major. She has played on stage with Green Day twice, once in San Francisco and then again in Los Angeles. She is currently going to college aiming to get an associate's degree in political science and then a bachelor's degree in music sciences. Although she doesn’t know what she wants to do specifically, Mackenzie knows she wants to pursue music for the rest of her life.
Daniel
Keyboard + Piano Teacher, Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher
Daniel grew up in Rochester, NY. From the time he first heard a Stevie Ray Vaughan tape, he knew he was going to make a career with music somehow. Daniel played in several jazz, blues, and rock bands in high school, and was in a gamelan ensemble in college. He studied harpsichord (yes, harpsichord) and music education at the University of Rochester and Nazareth College.
After graduating, Daniel moved to New York City where he taught music in public schools for two decades. He also sang in several choirs, performing more than once at Carnegie Hall, and was a member of a local rock band. In late 2022, he and his wife packed up and moved to Las Vegas. Daniel strives to help his students live up to their full potential; not only in technical ability but in creative expression. In addition to rocking out at school, Daniel studies film scoring at Berklee College of Music Online.
Adrian
Guitar Teacher
Adrian found his love for music and guitar at age 12 when he was accidentally placed in a music program. Showing natural gravitation to music, he pursued it from there on by attending the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts as a guitar major. After high school, Adrian served in the United States Marine Corps where he found his love for teaching and performed in his off time.
Adrian returned to Las Vegas and now continues his education by attending the University of Nevada Las Vegas as a Music Education Major and Guitar Performance Major. Adrian has five years of teaching experience which includes teaching music to brand-new music students and advanced students. During his off time, he teaches classical guitar, song writes, and performs in smaller events.
Larry
Guitar Teacher
Larry is a graduate of the Guitar Institute of Technology in Hollywood, California, where he studied under such famed guitar virtuosos as Paul Gilbert and Scott Henderson. He has toured with national recording artists in the U.S., Canada, Japan, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
In addition to his international touring, Larry has also performed in Las Vegas production shows such as “Friends the Musical Parody” and “Red Hot Country.” Larry has honed his musical skills and versatility while performing long-term residencies at the Bellagio, Mirage, Margaritaville/Flamingo, and Level 107 Jazz Lounge in The Stratosphere.
Larry is well-versed in many styles of guitar playing which include Classic Rock, Heavy Metal, Rhythm and Blues, and Jazz.
Jordon
Drum Teacher
Jordon is a drummer, composer, and educator from Las Vegas, NV. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2018 with a degree in Jazz and African-American Music Studies with a focus on drum set performance.
Jordon has performed with a large array of ensembles of all different genres and was a drummer for the show “Celestia” at The Strat located on the Las Vegas Strip. In addition to his drum set performances, he was a member of Drum Corps International’s “The Cadets,” a 10-time world championship-winning ensemble.
Jacob
Guitar Teacher
Jacob is originally from Boulder, Colorado. At the age of 7, he moved overseas with his family and spent his youth living and traveling internationally. Jacob was introduced to the guitar in Mumbai, India at the age of 8. Music has been a wellspring of inspiration for him ever since.
During his time at boarding school, Jacob discovered the beauty of writing music and playing in bands. He graduated college with a degree in recording technology and graduated from the Atlanta Institute of Music & Media in guitar performance. While in college, Jacob performed with a melodic metal band, Leporid, and recorded his first solo album for his project Zenkalde. Through his studies, Jacob has become a versatile guitarist with the confidence to play and teach a variety of genres.
Jacob plans to have a positive impact on the younger generation of musicians and to continue to grow as a musician and performer. In his free time, Jacob enjoys practicing and teaching yoga, spending time with his five younger siblings, and writing music for future projects.
Kevin
Drum Teacher
Exploring the world of music since the age of 10, Kevin has been around the Las Vegas block. Kevin has specialized in drums/percussion for most of his life, however, he is also a multi-instrumentalist musician. With prior marching band experience, Kevin was a percussion section leader for his high school band and had played snare and tenor drums during his high school career.
Kevin has been studying music composition at the University of Las Vegas, Nevada, and has found himself performing for a variety of the university’s symphony bands, orchestras, and percussion ensembles. For two years during the Christmas season, Kevin has performed as a toy soldier drummer for the Enchant Las Vegas event at the Las Vegas Ballpark.
Kevin is determined to go beyond just the performance structure and even self-produces his own music, releasing two rock/pop albums. As he enters a new age in his career, Kevin continues to set goals, pursuits, and ambitions within the world of music and entertainment.
Walker
Show Director, Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher
Walker studied guitar at the Denver School of the Arts and grew up in the School of Rock program. He successfully auditioned for his school's House Band and the AllStars program as a student.
Walker has played onstage with well-known groups and performed at prestigious venues and festivals including Red Rocks Amphitheater and Lollapalooza. He has also toured across the country as a professional guitarist and is a band leader, producer, and songwriter. Walker teaches guitar, bass, vocals, drums, and music production techniques.
Alyssa
Vocal Teacher, Little Wing + Rookies Teacher
Alyssa was born and raised in Port St. Lucie, Florida. With a family filled with loud loving musicians and teachers, her love for music, teaching, and performing blossomed at a very young age. With the help of her father and siblings, Alyssa developed her skills in vocal performance and picked up the clarinet at age 11. Since then, she has learned many woodwind instruments, piano, and ukulele and continued to sing as much as she could.
After graduating high school, Alyssa attended and graduated from Southeastern University with a B.A. in Music with an emphasis in vocal performance while also developing her skills as a teacher, instrumental skills, and an even bigger dream to teach music to students. Since graduating from Southeastern University, Alyssa hopes to spread the love and joys of music to young students around the country like how she learned growing up, and continue to grow her own musical techniques alongside her students.
