All of School of Rock Woodstock’s music teachers are experienced musicians devoted to helping students attain musical proficiency. Our instructors guide students one-on-one to personalize learning, inspire confidence and build social skills.
Robin Webb-Adams
Studio Coordinator
Robin is a mother of two grown-up kids. Her son is an athletic trainer and her daughter is a musician and private music instructor—Robin is a soccer mom AND a rocker mom!
Working for School of Rock combines Robin's love of music and years of experience working around kiddos. Her hobbies include learning drums, going to concerts, and watching her favorite team—Atlanta United—play soccer!
Ryan Cain
Guitar Teacher
Ryan graduated from the Atlanta Institute of Music with a guitar theory and performance degree in 2013. He has played in several touring bands throughout the years, most notably Kenotia (Sumerian Records), and has performed at several venues including House of Blues, Vans Warped Tour, and the Bamboozle Festival to name a few.
Ryan’s interest in music started when he joined his middle school's orchestra and played the violin. His favorite bands are currently MxPx, If These Trees Could Talk, and anything classical. His guitar of choice is the Fender Telecaster.
Liann Mayorga
Guitar Teacher, Keyboard + Piano Teacher, Drum Teacher
Liann Mayorga is a passionate musician and educator hailing from the vibrant city of Atlanta, Georgia. With a deep love for music, she has dedicated herself to sharing her talent and knowledge with both children and adults. Her journey as a music teacher began with a focus on guitar and then expanded to teaching piano, bass, and drums as well. Over the years she has nurtured the musical talents of numerous aspiring musicians.
Liann's creative prowess extends beyond teaching. She is a multi-talented music producer and songwriter, showcasing her versatility and artistry in her band PARAll3L. Not only has she performed with the band, but she has also taken on the roles of producer and songwriter, contributing significantly to the group's unique sound.
Liann Mayorga's dedication to music education, coupled with her artistic achievements as a producer and songwriter, makes her a dynamic and influential figure in the world of music. Her passion for teaching and creating music continues to grow every day.
Brandon Umbanhowar
Drum Teacher
Brandon has been playing drums for over two decades. He was heavily involved with music in high school: jazz band, pep band marching band, and concert band.
Brandon has been a touring musician for over a decade and currently plays drums for a band called The Funeral Portrait. They have opened for bands like Shinedown, From Ashes to New, Underoath, and Taking Back Sunday.
Colton Clements
Drum Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher
Colton Clements is an Atlanta-born and-raised session drummer with over 15 years of percussion experience and over three years of teaching under his belt. Throughout his career as a musician, Colton has been a part of both School of Rock Atlanta House Band and School of Rock East Cobb House Band, a tenor drummer in a professional marching band corps, and the current drummer for the local Atlanta band, Pinto Sunshine.
Colton has always had a deep passion for music and is honored to be working at School of Rock Woodstock, teaching students of all ages and imparting the same wisdom he once learned through this program.
Matthew Luce
Vocal Teacher, Keyboard + Piano Teacher
Matthew holds a BFA in Music & Theatre from Reinhardt University where he graduated cum laude in Spring 2016. He is also a GACE-certified music teacher in the state of Georgia.
Matthew has been teaching music around the Atlanta area since graduating and has also continued to follow his passion for performing onstage and off. He has performed in theaters as far North as Dahlonega, as West as Cedartown, as East as Cumming, and as South as Stone Mountain. He was nominated for the Irene Ryan Acting Award for his collegiate performance as Arvide Abernathy in Guys & Dolls.
Other experiences include several seasons singing with The Cherokee Chorale, and performing as a vocalist and parade performer at Stone Mountain Park during their Christmas season. With nearly 20 years of performance experience, both amateur and professional, Matthew is passionate about sharing all kinds of musical techniques and styles with students.
