This summer, BACCE Artistic Director and Bootycandy director, Edris Cooper-Anifowoshe and company member, Rotimi Agbabiaka (Type/Caste, Bootycandy) team up to co-director the San Francisco Mime Troupe’s annual summer touring production, WALLS written by SF Mime Troupe resident playwright, Michael Gene Sullivan.   The production marks a return for Edris Cooper-Anifowoshe to her artistic beginnings 25 years ago when she performed and toured nationally and internationally with the Tony-awarding company from 1987-1991. She has performed in SFMT shows The Mozamgola Caper,  I Ain’t Yo Uncle and Rats: A Dream Play.

SFMT, the oldest political theater company in the United States takes on immigration this summer in WALLS and features Rotimi, an SFMT veteran and collective member, onstage  in a performance role as well.
