“Black Heaven” kicks off So Soul SF: Black Art Salons

So Soul San Francisco: Black Art Salons was kicked off this Thursday, Feb 1st with DJ Black (Mellanique Robicheaux)  spinning the soul.  You missed exciting performances by AeJay Mitchell (pictured below) and Rotimi Agbabiaka, tamales from our friends at the famed Roosevelt’s Tamale Parlor and soothing scents from the Artist Self Care kits offered by BACCE’s  Kehinde Koyejo in our Salon Salon.  Join us in two weeks, on Feb 15, for our next salon, Oju Ibeji hosted by “The Ibjei”, Melorra and Melonie Green who will be joined in conversation by revolutionary journalist, JR Valrey.  Photos from Black Heaven were taken by audience members.
