On February 15th, So Soul San Francisco: Black Art Salons presented Oju Ibeji, with hosts Melonie and Melorra Green (Ibeji) in conversation with underground journalist and producer and host of The Block Report radio. Over wine and cheese, artists and audience engaged in a challenging conversation about race and revolution. Full audio of this salon will be available until March 15th on the salon event page. During the conversation, artist Safety First created a tribute drawing of Pam the Funktress. Joining us in audience were two legendary Bay Area artists – Nancy Cato and Rene Yanez.
Next up: March 15th, House Full of Black Women, hosted by Ellen Sebastian Chang and Amara Tabor Smith. Be there or be square!
